Wood-cut allegorical t.p. and numerous cuts in text, including 20 full-page (that depicting the birth of Eve appears twice, on r6v and D1v). The 3 folded plates are: [1]. Descriptio inuentionis semitonij minoris -- [2]. [Diagram of relations between musical tones] -- [3]. [Map of the world]. The map derives from that of Ptolemy as published in 1482 at Ulm; see Becker

Library's copy has numerous contemporary annotations. Front cover inscribed in ink: Nro. 76. Front pastedown has brief inscriptions in black ink, including the phrase: Filosofia, Amor Sapientiae. Initials in sanguine chalk at head of title, the last of which is "M". Rectos of leaves numbered in pencil at top right corner. Back pastedown has four-paragraph inscription in brown ink in an early cursive hand, ending with the dates: mdxv- xvij
